ABOUT MARK MCKEATING

I advise a diverse range of employers in sectors such as professional services, sport, manufacturing, media / PR, retail, logistics and hospitality covering Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I have vast experience in dealing with employment tribunal claims and occasionally appear in Employment Tribunal hearings on behalf of my clients. My experience covers the full spectrum of claims including unfair dismissal, breach of contract, TUPE, whistleblowing, and discrimination claims. I regularly provide training for clients on issues such as disciplinary / grievances, redundancy, social media, performance management and all kinds of discrimination. I have carved out a specialism for advising employers in relation to business protection e,g seeking injunctions and breach of contract actions against departing employees who seek to poach business. I also advise high net worth individuals in exiting businesses and over recent years I have looked after players, managers, coaches, scouts, agents and directors in the world of football, covering contract negotiations, settlement / compromise agreements through to claims in the Employment Tribunal.
