Loss Control Services gives our members access to a team of highly trained consultants whose sole purpose is to help our members manage risk and keep their businesses running smoothly. We do this by positioning our safety and risk management professionals across the country to meet the needs of our members. Our Loss Control Services consultants have earned engineering and other technical degrees; they hold industry certifications and designations such as the ARM, CFPS, CDS and CSP; and use their wealth of industry knowledge to understand our member’s businesses and processes. This allows for Loss Control Services to deliver the technical expertise to help our members manage loss costs and to protect their bottom line.Loss Control Services provides safety and risk management services to Nationwide\'s $3.6 billion book of standard commercial business.Currently I am the Associate Vice President of Loss Control Services. I have over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. I am a Certified Safety Professional and hold the Certified Fire Protection Specialist designation. Throughout my career I have held several different positions inside the Loss Control area ranging from Field Consultant to Associate Vice President. Additional insurance experience includes Personal Lines Underwriting Director, Commercial Lines Underwriting Director, Product Director and Customer First Leadership Team. I have served on board of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association (Beach Plan) and the board of Governors for the North Carolina Rate Bureau.
