Mark has been in the real estate industry since 1989. He has a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from Montana State University and Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana. He holds the CCIM designation which is recognized as one of the highest achievements in the commercial & investment real estate industry.Mark is president of Macek Companies, Inc. which is a commercial real estate brokerage, development, and consulting company serving local, regional, and national clients throughout Montana.Mark is also president of Macek Property Management, Inc.(MPM) which is a full service commercial and residential asset and property management company. MPM manages shopping centers as well as retail, office, industrial, and US government buildings. MPM also has a residential division which specializes in multi-family and single family residential management.Mark served the CCIM Institute as President in 2015. He graduated from the CCIM Institute’s Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy and was awarded the Susan Groeneveld Award of Excellence as the academy’s top graduate.Mark has been involved extensively in the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) serving as a past President of the Montana Association of REALTORS® and a Regional Vice President where he represented the states of Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska on the national Executive Committee. Mark also served as Chair of the Research Committee for NAR which provides research materials and information to the national media, congress, and many other recipients. He has served as a national director and on numerous other national committees. NAR is recognized as one of the most powerful groups in Washington D.C. representing the rights of private property owners and NAR members.Mark is a past Chairman of the Board of the Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as the Chairman of the Great Falls Development Authority.Specialties: Mark specializes in commercial, investment, and development real estate brokerage, property management and consulting.
