About Mark Mitchem

Currently: Developing and facilitating leadership programs for SBCC\'s Trailhead Leadership Institute clients, including Air Force Global Strike Command. Also serving as an instructor for the Air Force Global College \"Air, Space, and Joint Warfare\" and \"Leadership and Command\" courses for mid-career military officers and civilian professionals each month. Further developing leaders locally as an adjunct for Gulf Coast State College, teaching \"Principles of Management and Leadership.\"* Previously: served 32 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force gaining expertise in Leadership Development, National Security, and Intelligence fields, while earning Joint Qualified Officer designation. 15 of the 32 years of military service were in Joint and Interagency assignments. Served final assignment with the Air Force as the Director of Intelligence for the global-ranging air component of United States Strategic Command. Also had the honor and privilege of empowering Airmen as the commander of two Air Force organizations of 850 (squadron) and 1,100 (group) personnel.Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel.Raised in Bay County, Florida. Mosley H.S. Class of \'83. Returned to Panama City in 2020.
