About Mark Litner
I have been Of Counsel to the Chicago law firm of Jaffe & Berlin since July of 2010 after having practiced at the law firm of Much Shelist for over 20 years. At Jaffe & Berlin we offer a wide range of business and litigation services at affordable rates, including real estate transactions, business and commercial law, commercial litigation, personal injury, estate planning and taxation, and employment law. I also have an MBA in finance from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Concentrations: I represent clients on real estate and business transactions, including closings for purchasing, selling and financing of commercial, residential, retail, office, industrial, restaurant and medical properties, leasing for both landlords and tenants, resolving landlord/tenant disputes, condominium matters and disputes, IRS section 1031 like kind exchanges, general business matters and estate planning. I pride myself on being responsive, trustworthy and committed to helping my clients achieve their business goals in a timely and cost efficient manner, and I treat each matter as if it were my own.
