About Mark Lesser

MUSICIAN - I\'m a multi-instrumentalist located in Chicago, IL. While I\'m primarily a saxophonist, I\'m also a capable flautist and clarinetist. I received my M.M. at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA) studying with Dr. Griffin Campbell and my B.A. at Drake University (Des Moines, IA) with Dr. James Romain and Colin Young. I\'ve also been lucky enough to study with Claude Delangle, Vincent David, and Arno Bornkamp. By no means am I some single genre wind player, I\'ve written performed everything from modern classical music, to jazz, funk, rock, and even country & western. MARKETING - My professional career has centered around creating marketing content for universities and colleges. Directly after receiving my B.A.(Radio/Television Production) from Drake University (Des Moines, IA), I joined Drake University Athletics as an editor, and quickly became the interim Coordinator of Creative Services while serving as an Assistant Producer for the Drake Relays. While pursuing my M.M. degree at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, LA), I was the Social Media Graduate Assistant for Undergraduate Admissions, and later worked as the Videographer/Photographer for the university’s new,$80 million recreation center.
