ABOUT MARK KAUFMAN

Haiti Air Ambulance has been advancing healthcare access across Haiti\'s rural communities since 2014, and continues to do so despite the 2025 Federal Aviation Authority flight ban over Haiti. I led 2025 campaigns for first-time funding from Merck Pharmaceuticals, Morgan Stanley, the Miami Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, and Baptist Hospital, Miami. Our diaspora-focused development efforts are based in Miami, Brooklyn, Chicago, and Atlanta. We helped write and secure $14 million in bipartisan legislation to serve maternity patients in Haiti, deliver last-mile vaccines, and rotate doctors from major Haitian hospitals. My fundraising career spans the nonprofit and private sectors in over fifteen major US cities. I served as Executive On Loan on behalf of Marriott International to the President Clinton‘s Welfare to Work Partnership, overseeing ten major markets under a $3.5 million grant. I raised federal, foundation, and city grants for 11 years at Roosevelt University, Chicago, as founder and author of Career Passport, a therapy model of career development. Additional clients have included University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, the Wharton School of Business, and the South Sudanese Association in Chicago.
