As a faculty member and curriculum designer in strategic management, I deliver dynamic, current, and actionable courses through case studies, integrated learning experiences with industry professionals, and thought-provoking conversations. I also serve as a supervisor to students completing their capstone projects.The Master of Communications Management program is Canada’s leading master’s degree for creative professionals, executives, entrepreneurs and researchers in the many fields related to communications management including marketing, fundraising, digital and social media, public affairs, investor relations, and others.As an Industry Professor at McMaster University I am also an active member of the African Caribbean Faculty Association of McMaster University (ACFAM), and the McMaster working group of the Canada-Caribbean Institute.

ABOUT MARK JOHN STEWART
As Managing Director with Wentworth Strategy Group, I lead a team of experienced consultants in the delivery of expert advice and execution for CEOs, boards of directors, and senior leaders in Canada and across the world. I serve as Executive Advisor to Canadian-based international charity Empowerment Squared, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority. I have previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Health Trust and Co-Chair of the City of Hamilton Mayor’s Task Force on Transparency, Access and Accountability. I have also supported hundreds of clients and community organizations as the President of marketing agency FlyPrint.Currently an Industry Professor focused on strategic management with the McMaster University Master of Communications Management program, I am a member of the African and Caribbean Faculty Association of McMaster and support the Canada-Caribbean Institute. I have served McMaster University in many capacities, including as President of the McMaster Alumni Association, as a member of the Board of Governors, and overseeing advancement activities at the DeGroote School of Business.I hold an MBA in Strategic Market Leadership from the DeGroote School of Business and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Management, and have completed executive studies at Harvard Business School.As a public speaker, I present to audiences on strategy, governance, leadership, entrepreneurship, and reputation and relationship building, and appreciate having been recognized by CBC, Rotary International, Business Link Media, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, the Reverend John C Holland Awards, and the McMaster Alumni Association for leadership contributions, and to be a recipient of the King Charles Coronation Medal and named to the Order of Hamilton.
