ABOUT MARK BRESLIN

I specialise in all forms of litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on construction, engineering and energy both in the UK and abroad. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and feel privileged to work in a team that is recognised as a band 1 practice in Legal 500. I act for employers, contractors and consultants on a wide range of disputes. I have advised on projects in the UK, wider Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Africa. I often work with clients at project level to avoid disputes crystalising in the first place and regularly support in-house legal teams manage risk on projects. My experience also extends to non-contentious construction and I spent most of 2013 on secondment with an international engineering practice, Arup. In this role, I advised engineers and senior management in respect of commercial and contentious matters. I have also provided advice in relation to a range of contracts including NEC3, JCT, ICE and FIDIC.In 2013, I was awarded an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King\'s College, London and made some wonderful contacts along the way.I am a committee member of TeCSA and truly believe that it is important to give something back to the industry. I am also passionate about developing new talent.
