Mark joined the Tax Technology team at PwC January 2022. Prior to joining PwC, Mark worked 14 years at Grant Thornton (of which the last 2 years was in the Digital Tax Team and the Digital Transformation Team driving automation, optimisation and innovation and supporting all areas of the business (Tax, Audit, Advisory, HR, Finance, Business School, People & Culture.) and a further 4 years at Tony Freeman & Co.Mark has over 19 years of accountancy experience. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 2007 and as a chartered tax advisor in 2009. Mark achieved the highest status of ICAEW membership and became a Fellow of ICAEW (FCA) in 2018.At the start of 2020, Mark transferred to the national Digital Transformation Team driving automation, optimisation and innovation. Mark supported all areas of the business (Tax, Audit, Advisory, HR, Finance, Business School, People & Culture.) creating significant efficiencies, cost savings and improving jobs satisfaction by removing mundane repetitive elements of work. This enabled people to focus on more interesting value adding project.
