About Mark Huppert

Mark is a real estate advisor and operational leader with over 25 years of experience advising and managing transportation, higher education, hospitality, and residential facility development. His work has touched over $3 billion in real estate across the United States. Mark has a passion for improving the built environment and applies the Energy Star, LEED, and STARS rating systems to minimize carbon impacts and leave a positive environmental legacy. He has directed energy research and sustainability programs for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as public and privately-held operations. He holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a joint MSc. in Construction Management and MBA from the University of Washington. He is a past management committee member of the Urban Land Institute\'s Northwest District Council and is a L.E.E.D.
