Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in program management, focused on computer vision and data‑intensive systems.    Fluffy Pet Technologies builds AI and computer vision systems that monitor dogs in daycare and veterinary environments to improve health, safety, and wellness outcomes. Our models identify each dog, track behavior over time, surface meaningful insights, and capture “playful moments” for pet owners.As Fluffy’s lead ML engineer, I design, build, and maintain our end to end AI pipeline, from camera input through multi model inference to PostgreSQL.• I architect and own a fully containerized, event driven video inference pipeline using Docker, AWS ECS/Fargate, SNS, SQS, and S3, coordinating multiple PyTorch-based models (detection, tracking, pose, segmentation, re ID) across thousands of 4K clips per day in cloud, edge, and on prem environments.• I optimized the pipeline with async processing and GPU aware scheduling, increasing throughput from roughly 8–10 FPS to 45–50 FPS per 4K stream while running several models per video.• I implement GPU VRAM efficient model lifecycles so more per camera pipelines can run concurrently on a single server without reduced throughput due to VRAM bottlenecks.• I train and fine tune dog detection, pose, and segmentation models, and build custom preprocessing to handle poor lighting, blur, occlusion, and other real world artifacts.• I automate ingestion of training data into our annotation tools and deliver training ready datasets to our R&D team via S3 and Slack based notifications.• I configure and customize AI edge devices: provisioning servers, deploying monitoring and inference containers, integrating Tailscale, and shipping ready to run hardware to customer sites.• I work closely with R&D to turn research code into reliable production systems, influencing model and inference design so new capabilities fit within our performance and deployment constraints.
