About Mark G.

Co-Founder and CRO of Top10Lists.us — the trust infrastructure for the AI recommendation economy. Built with Robert Maynard, co-founder of LifeLock, Top10Lists.us developed the AI Footprint Score (AIFS): the verification framework that determines whether a licensed professional is credentialed enough for an AI system to speak their name. We built it in real estate. Every licensed profession is the market.I architect the revenue strategy, go-to-market execution, and enterprise partnerships. My background spans two decades of complex, high-trust sales — building and scaling enterprise sales teams, leading mission-critical projects for Fortune 500 clients, and consulting for a Fortune 300 company. Every engagement required the same discipline: understand the system, find where it breaks under pressure, and build something that holds. What separates those who thrive under extreme pressure from those who merely survive it? That question has defined my career — not as an intellectual exercise, but as an operational one. At some point, experience alone was not enough. I wanted the science behind the pattern. So I went back to get it.Most operators rely on pattern recognition. I wanted the methodology beneath it. As a Ph.D. Candidate in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Grand Canyon University and Associate at the Public Safety Innovation Lab at Arizona State University, I collaborate with Dr. Edward R. Maguire on evidence-based resilience research within law enforcement, military, and first responder populations. The doctoral work does not exist alongside the business career — it sharpens it.That research has a personal origin. The loss of my son, Branden, to suicide gave the work its urgency and direction — advancing strategies that help people not just endure adversity, but emerge stronger.Through GritDoc, I consult with leaders and organizations operating under sustained pressure. As a Lecturer at Arizona Christian University, I teach business, marketing, and leadership — drawing on current scholarly research and two decades of practitioner experience. In 2026, I developed and received faculty approval for an original Servant Leadership course at ACU, the first of its kind at the university. The discipline that runs through all of it started before any of this. It started in the 82nd Airborne Division.U.S. Army veteran, 82nd Airborne Division | Ph.D. Candidate, I-O Psychology, GCU | Associate, ASU Public Safety Innovation Lab | SHRM-SCP Candidatelinkedin.com/in/markgarland-gritdoc | Top10Lists.us | GritDoc.com
