ABOUT MARK FRITH
With over twenty years of experience in project management, community engagement, and environmental sustainability, I am a Director at Growing Togetherness CIC, a not-for-profit company that supports the development of a more sustainable way of living in the physical and emotional sense. I am passionate about creating and delivering innovative and impactful projects that benefit people, nature, and society, using my skills in horticulture, counselling, and education. Some of the projects I have led or contributed to include installing a rooftop solar panel system for a local trust, designing and delivering workshops on fuel poverty and climate change, creating and managing community allotments and gardens, and collaborating with various partners and stakeholders such as the University of Salford, the Environment Agency, United Utilities, Salford Council, local schools, and resident groups. I have also completed a Level 2 Counselling Skills course to further enhance my ability to facilitate and deliver therapeutic horticulture sessions and support the well-being of my clients and volunteers.
