ABOUT MARK FOLIGNO

I\'m a senior design leader with 14 years of experience shaping in-vehicle, mobile and connected experiences, nine of them at Porsche Digital leading design across multiple product teams from concept to production. Graduate of University College London. Recent work includes the infotainment landing experience for the Electric Cayenne, the first CarPlay integration by any automaker to bring vehicle controls into the Apple ecosystem, and Porsche Privilege, a digital loyalty platform for Porsche owners and enthusiasts across Asia Pacific. I hold 37 self-initiated patents spanning connected vehicle services, EV infrastructure, AI-powered experiences and next-generation in-vehicle UX. Seven are AI-specific, including a system that autonomously drives a parked vehicle to safety when a threat is detected, and a context-aware AI that manages driver communications based on user state and situational context. Not because filing patents was my job, but because designing at the edge of what\'s possible tends to produce ideas worth protecting. Tunnel Mode, covered globally by Autoblog, Road & Track and CarBuzz, is one example. Before Porsche Digital, I spent over five years at HERE Technologies, leading UX for mapping and location services, working with partners including Audi, Jaguar Land Rover, VW, and Toyota. As product manager I launched three personalised driver services to market: departure alerts, fuel recommendations, and parking suggestions, covered in the press at launch and deployed across connected navigation systems globally. Everything comes back to one thing. A genuine understanding of what people actually need. Currently exploring senior design leadership opportunities in connected mobility, automotive UX, and adjacent spaces. I bring deep domain expertise, a track record of shipping at scale, and a career\'s worth of conviction that great UX is worth fighting for.
