Assistant team lead on the “Compana Pet Products” team.• Interact with customers by phone, email, or in person and receive orders or changes in service• Communicate issues with production to customer; ensure appointments and codes are correct in the Transportation Management System (TMS)• Enter and communicate preset appointments, as needed by receivers• Notify customer of any missed deliveries, or production material delays; follow up notification when delivered• Get approval from customer on SPOT rates• Send customer / consignee daily reporting• Assist other team members with tracking and tracing shipments and rescheduling pickup and delivery appointments if original appointment is missed.• Retrieve shipping documents such as BOLs and PODs at the customer’s request.• Keep in constant contact with carriers to make sure that pickups and deliveries are tracking on time or if they will be running late.
