About Mark E. Sullivan

I discovered my knack for turning around distressed organizations after being promoted to Director of Admissions early on in my career. Upon assuming leadership of a struggling Admissions department, I set about building a high-performance team that exceeded start goals by 200%, netting me the \"Parthenon Award\" for my team leadership. My career has been on an upward trajectory ever since.My ability to identify weaknesses in organizational processes, and introduce highly effective solutions is my greatest strength. This is repeatedly demonstrated in revenue increases I have achieved. For Everest College, I exceeded revenue and income goals by 20% in 2008 and over 44% in 2009. As President and COO for the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM), I built upon previous revenue growth to the point we increased income by over 50% in 2018. Such growth is achieved on so many levels. I have become an expert in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Student Management systems, and recently overhauled AIAM systems to facilitate increased enrollment. I have collaborated with alumni and businesses to create scholarship opportunities including an alumni scholarship that was instrumental in reversing declining enrollment for a program. I am working on a new online program to ease overcrowding at our location. Yet, the mark of a truly successful leader isn\'t solely in the numbers. I have been successful in creating an environment conducive to student and staff success. Satisfaction scores for each of my organizations consistently rank at the highest levels. I\'ve focused on improving student success such as establishing a program to increase nursing student licensure exam pass rates. I don\'t just read the satisfaction reports either. I engage with community members daily, and gauge success one smile at a time.
