ABOUT MARKEL LEWIS
Even before college, I knew I had a knack and genuine interest in helping others achieve their goals and bring happiness to themselves. It was difficult being the first in my family to go to college, let alone attending a school district that encouraged going straight to work. As soon as I was accepted, I knew the first thing I wanted to do was show other students how they can further their education as well. I joined a club that dedicated itself to community outreach in impoverished areas, by teaching at schools and advising students how to go to college even if the odds are against them. I partook in many clubs that helped around the area and just made sure others had the best living situations they could have. After graduating, I knew I wanted to continue that and have now devoted myself to helping companies retain and bring in the best employees through my Human Resources knowledge.
