I have leveraged my leadership, operations, and legal skills by creating new departments from the ground-up, creating analytical tools that establish hospital utilization performance metrics, and restructuring budgets to create new positions without adding cost to the organization. Currently, I serve as the first non-clinician to lead the anesthesia department for Kaiser Permanente.I thrive on interpreting difficult information, removing barriers for staff, investing in relationships with my team members to be an accountable leader, and providing timely advice and counsel for the benefit of my team and organization. I am skilled at seeing the “big picture” as well as understanding the minutia details to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day issues. I share a vision that inspires others and builds confidence and trust in serving as a mentor and teacher to young careerists.
