I lead business transformation programs that use IT as a key enabler. My focus is on ERP technology (SAP & MS Dynamics) and how this combines with new tech (AI & RPA) to drive profitable revenue growth, cost reduction and organisational change. I bring client-side experience into my consulting work having been the CIO for a global automotive company. There, I established a new global line function for IT, was accountable for the ‘run’ side of IT Operations, and oversaw all IT projects to change the business. I can honestly say I’ve walked a mile in the shoes of my customers. The types of project I work on vary: from the result of Mergers & Acquisitions, rationalising Supply Chains, establishing Shared Service Centres and/or Centres of Excellence, and driving Customer Insights & Intelligence. My primary industry focus is Consumer, Retail and Logistics, but I have also worked in Automotive, Manufacturing, Telco, Energy & Utilities, Mining & Construction. I have sat on the techUK Board for Data Analytics & AI; the CBI working group on AI and the All Party Parliamentary Group on AI.
