ABOUT MARK DUNN
I’m Managing Director of Camlins, a landscape architecture practice with studios in Shrewsbury and Birmingham. We work on a wide range of projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, which keeps things both varied and rewarding. I joined Camlins over a decade ago as a graduate Architectural Technologist, so I’ve grown alongside the practice. Over time, I’ve moved into a leadership role while staying closely connected to project work, which is really important to me. I’m particularly focused on balancing creativity with strong technical delivery, and creating a studio environment where people can do their best work. I’ve been heavily involved in our projects in London’s Nine Elms, which have been a key part of my journey. More broadly, I’m always looking at how we can improve, whether that’s in how we design, how we deliver projects, or how we work together as a team. In late 2024, I helped lead our transition to employee ownership, which was an important milestone for the business. My focus now is on growing Camlins in a way that feels true to who we are, exploring new opportunities, and continuing to evolve as a practice.
