About Mark Davoren

Predictable, high-quality pipeline is the lifeblood of every fast-growth SaaS company. Without it, forecasts lose credibility, sales cycles slow, and confidence in hitting the number erodes. SDRs are tasked with creating that motion– hitting the phones and inboxes until they break through. But when SDR performance is inconsistent, the entire revenue plan is at risk. The warning signs are easy to spot. Pipeline coverage fluctuates unpredictably from quarter to quarter, making it difficult to plan with confidence. AEs spend too much time in low-quality meetings that don’t progress, while valuable leads slip through because SDRs respond too slowly or incompletely. So quality MQLs that could have become high-value opportunities never materialize, eroding Marketing’s investment.Early qualification fails to set the stage. Too many first meetings start too low and too tactical. SDRs aren’t consistently surfacing high-level pain, quantifiable impact, or urgency. Without that, deals remain shallow, single-threaded, and ultimately stall when buyers ask the ROI question. The outcome: slower sales cycles, lower win rates, and missed targets.Market coverage is uneven. ICP focus isn’t sharp, so SDR time is spread thin across accounts that don’t move the needle. Outreach often feels generic, failing to connect to the prospect’s real business priorities. By the time the company enters the conversation, competitors have already shaped the buying criteria. Activity levels look strong, but conversion and influence are lacking.Another major constraint is that operationally the SDR motion isn’t scaling as it should. As inbound and outbound demand rises, momentum flatlines under too much manual research, uneven follow-up, and disconnected tools. Leadership is investing in AI, but without a clear strategy for how human SDRs and AI agents should work together, adoption remains piecemeal and the funnel can’t expand fast enough. Instead of fueling growth, the top of the funnel slows – making it harder to sustain the trajectory the business has promised. For a revenue leader, the implication is clear: if SDRs – human or AI – aren’t consistently producing predictable, high-quality pipeline, every other part of the go-to-market motion is under pressure. Hitting the number becomes harder, forecast trust declines, and competitors gain ground. All of this points to one thing – the need for a predictable, scalable way to create more pipeline, faster. And that’s where I come in.
