ABOUT MARK CORDEN

HR and Workforce Transformation is what I do — all of it, from the first conversation about what needs to change, through to the point where the business is actually working differently and better.I founded Corden Consulting to combine my experience in HR Leadership, Technology Implementation, and Change Management and provide clients with trusted, end-to-end expertise, from \'roadmap to reality\'. That means being equally at home shaping vision and strategy, and getting into the details of a technology implementation or leading change management the way it should be.What I focus on:Most of my work sits across three interconnected areas:Operating Model Design — helping organisations work out how work actually gets done. Whether it\'s building shared services, improving organisational effectiveness, or aligning HR infrastructure with business strategy across multiple markets, I bring a commercial perspective to what is often a desk-based, theoretical exercise.HR Technology Implementation — leading programmes from strategy and selection through to delivery and optimisation. I\'ve implemented Workday, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors, and other HCM platforms for organisations ranging from to employees. I\'m also an Advisory Partner with Workday, Dayforce, and HiBob — which means I combine genuine vendor knowledge with independent, client-side delivery. Those two things don\'t always come together, and clients tell me it makes a real difference.Change Leadership — making sure the transformation actually embeds. The technology going live is not the finish line. I lead change, communications, training, and adoption strategies that turn projects into sustainable ways of working and measurable business value. The experience behind it:I\'ve worked with complex organisations across retail, transport, hospitality, and manufacturing — Private Equity-backed, FTSE-listed, and founder-led businesses, from fast-growing B-Corps to multi-billion-dollar global enterprises. The contexts vary enormously. The focus isn\'t on delivering outcomes, not just activity.I\'m a Chartered FCIPD, FIoL, PMP and MSP Practitioner, and a Google Certified Data Analyst. My work has been recognised with a CIPD Overall Winner award, a Princess Royal Training Award, and inclusion in the HRD Global Top 100.Let\'s start a conversation:If you\'re wrestling with a transformation challenge — whether that\'s technology, restructuring, a change initiative that needs rescuing, or simply working out where to start — I\'m always happy to have a straight conversation about it.
