The Equiniti Group is a Business Process Services Provider delivering complex administration and payment solutions to clients in the UK, including 50% of the FTSE100.For this particular role I was employed to assist the development team in the implementation of Equiniti Compendia Solution into the NHS. This encompassed the migration of the core proprietary desktop solution to an ASP.NET framework with SQL server data and standard interfacing. Because of the idiosyncrasy of this particular NHS implementation, the client required a large amount of bespoke application development, porting existing VB6 applications into the.NET framework and utilising our knowledge of other development techniques (and languages) to crowbar the core application to suite the client specification;• The NHS Pension Scheme is the largest centrally administered scheme in Europe, with over 2.6 million members• Migrated over 179 million rows of data, satisfying over migration validation checks, independently verified by PWC. Unlike the majority of IT projects within the NHS this project was completed to budget and on time creating over £5.6 million pounds of revenue for Equiniti Paymaster.
