About Mark Capaldini
I am now a full-time volunteer. I hope to leverage my 50 years of business experience in support of causes I believe are important and valuable:1. Organ Donation. There are Americans awaiting organ transplants. Every day 15 or so die. We can do better. I donated a kidney in 2022 and have seen the life-changing impact such donations can have, on recipients and their familes.2. Disaster Relief. I am a Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteer and supervisor for the American Red Cross. I respond to both local and national disasters. My most recent \"deployment\" away from home was Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina in 2024.3. MESA (Minnesota Emerging Software Advisory). Mentor for software startups and emerging companies. MESA provides free mentoring services and has made a material impact on the software sector in Minnesota, with mentee companies raising over $1 billion in institutional capital over 15 years.4. Episcopal Homes of Minnesota. For 130 years Episcopal Homes has provided a continuum of care for over 1500 residents in multiple facilities, mostly in St. Paul, MN. Proud to serve as a Trustee and as Chair of the Donor Relations Committee.
