ABOUT MARK CAMPBELL
I am a Chartered Town Planner and Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute with 20 years’ experience providing Planning Consultancy services in both the public and private sectors. I have worked extensively across the Thames Valley region on development schemes of all sizes and complexities spanning Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Berkshire. Throughout my career, I have developed an in-depth knowledge of the UK planning system and legislation, with work on residential, commercial, mixed-use and rural schemes, as well as having specialist knowledge in minerals and waste developments.My experience enables me to provide a wide overview together with clear and reliable advice on a whole spectrum of town planning issues and procedures. I like to build trust with my clients through truthful and pragmatic advice and always try to be accessible throughout a project to help my clients take their matters forward. I have determined and secured permission for a wide variety of developments and successfully advised clients on planning policy representations and examinations, obtaining planning consents, public inquiries and planning appeals. In addition to handling planning projects for the private sector, I have also represented Local Planning Authorities including Ashford Borough Council, Wiltshire Council and Stroud District Council as an expert planning witness at hearings, inquiries, and appeals. I also work with schools and other institutions.
