I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Distinction in Biology and Chemistry in 1983. I went on to the University of Missouri Medical School and graduated Magna cum Laude in 1987.I did my Residency at Barnes Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis Missouri from 19••••90. I did my fellowship in Rheumatology at the Washington University School of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology from 19••••93.I have been a Diplomate of National Board of Medical Examiners since 1988, a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1990, a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Rheumatology since 1994, a Certified Clinical Densitometrist, and a member of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry since am also a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Rheumatology, Arthritis Foundation of Western Missouri/Greater Kansas City, International Society for Clinical Densitometry, Midwest Rheumatology Association and the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations.In my spare time, I enjoy movies, theater and reading.
