ABOUT MARK C. BOGSTAD
I am a senior aerodynamic Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) specialist focused on aircraft configuration design and analysis in support of aircraft product development and certification. Currently consulting aerodynamic design and analysis for undisclosed industrial partners. Analysis includes shrouded fan integration and analysis, propeller analysis and impact on airframe. Successfully designed and placed radomes & antennae on different Bombardier Aircraft to minimize aerodynamic impact and created numerous CFD based aerodynamic databases for Loads, Dynamics, Aircraft Simulation and Performance groups. Having acted as group lead in a multi-cultural engineering environment and coached junior team members, I am a strong team-player with always timely deliverables for the customer in mind. Very familiar with High-Performance Computing facilities but also posses knowledge of wind-tunnel testing as I have actively participated in over ten wind-tunnel campaigns for data acquisition and aircraft configuration validation. Coming from an international background with knowledge of five languages, I am seeking for new opportunities where my skills can be used in the field of aerodynamic design and analysis.
