I’m an insurance pricing specialist with 20+ years’ experience across pricing, underwriting, MI, analytics and risk, built through leadership and specialist roles with insurers and financial services businesses including Aviva, RSA, Co-op Insurance, Markerstudy, Principal Insurance and Tradex.I now work through MJ43, providing consultancy, contract and interim support to insurers and related businesses. My background spans motor, home, pet, health and wider personal lines, combining deep analytical expertise with practical commercial judgement, stakeholder management and delivery focus.Across my career I have led pricing teams, improved pricing capability, built pricing and MI frameworks, supported underwriting and portfolio decisions, delivered pricing transformation, and helped businesses make better commercial decisions through stronger analysis and clearer insight. At different points I have reported to senior leadership, chaired cross-functional forums, managed analyst teams, and delivered work that improved renewal performance, reduced claims ratio, enhanced model governance and strengthened pricing processes.
