In 2015, Markay Winston was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Central College and received their alumni award in 2014. Recently, she was appointed to the Central College Board of Trustees. Served as Chief Diverse Learner Officer for the 3rd largest school district in the country where she oversaw core instruction and learning supports for over students across 400+ schools.
