As Executive Director, I lead the organization in partnership with our founders and Board of Directors, translating vision into action to advance our mission of justice for the wrongly incarcerated. I oversee day-to-day operations, including program development, financial management, policy creation, and staff and volunteer leadership, while fostering an organizational culture rooted in empathy and accountability. Working closely with the Board, I drive strategic planning, infrastructure development, and fiscal sustainability to ensure long-term impact.A critical part of my role is steering our programmatic efforts, which include both legal defense and comprehensive care for exonerees. I collaborate with legal teams to manage active cases and pursue new ones, while working alongside our social workers to provide crucial support services for individuals recently released from prison. My leadership ensures seamless alignment between operations and mission, allowing us to effectively serve our clients and amplify their voices.I also lead our fundraising and community engagement strategies, building meaningful relationships with donors, partners, media, and the broader community. As an organizational spokesperson, I champion our mission locally and nationally, cultivate media partnerships, and oversee our signature events and donor stewardship initiatives. By driving growth in revenue and visibility, I ensure the organization’s continued momentum in the fight for justice.
