About Mark Winters
I have over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. My background started out in sales from P&C to life and health as well as specialty products. I did sales for about 10 years. I have been working since December of in insurance claims. I have handled personal and commercial property and liabilitiy claims. I have managed independent adjusting offices with up to 6 adjusters handling claims in the field. I have supervised 4 adjusters dedicated to acting as TPA for a major School Board in Florida. We primarily handled auto and general liability claims from very minor to heavily litigated claims. Since March of 2013, I have worked for FCCI Insurance Group as a Claims Manager for the Florida Region. The adjusters I managed handled both first and third party commercial claims, and commercial auto claims. In September of 2020, I moved to our Claims Technical Unit as a Claims Examiner. As part of this new position, I lead our CAT program, audited claim files, reported to State entities, reported to company executives and trained adjusters. In February of 2023, I moved into my current role as Director of Property Claims. I oversee our First Party Property Team. Specialties: Experience in Xactimate software for estimating as well as several different claim management systems. I obtained my CPCU designation in 2007 and am currently working on obtaining my ARM designation.
