Profile:An experienced and trained engineer, with manufacturing experience in CNC Machining, Production Engineering, CAD/CAM, Aluminium Casting, Quality Engineering and Project Planning. An enthusiastic, dependable and hardworking team player who is keen to learn new skills.Key Skills & Achievements: • Experienced user of CAD & CAM packages (FeatureCAM, OneCAM and AutoCAD) as well as Microsoft Office packages.• Expertise with 3, 4 & 5 axis Machining Centres with various control (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain and Okuma).• Extensive programming experience online and offline using CAD/CAM for use on Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls.• Excellent communication skills with colleagues at all levels.• Accurate written communication skills.• Project work including activities such as process validation, continuous improvement,problem solving and staff training.• Project Planning experience.• People Management experience.Personal Interests:Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my children. I also enjoy military and fictional war gaming, re-enactment groups and sports such as sailing, snowboarding and skiing. I have also extensively travelled and worked abroad both in Europe (sailing around the Mediterranean as a flotilla engineer) and further afield such as Australasia. I also have a strong interest in the growing area of 3D printing and scanning.
