As CEO, Mark drives the firm’s vision, strategy, and expansion—leading its growth through acquisitions, assurance, tax, and advisory services.Mark launched Advisent after founding and scaling CWDL, a high-growth CPA firm recognized multiple times on the Inc. list of Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies and named one of the nation’s fastest-growing firms by Inside Public Accounting (IPA) in both 2023 and 2024. His career has been defined by helping businesses achieve profitability and clarity through rigorous financial insight, scalable systems, and proactive tax and compliance strategies.Before founding Advisent, Mark built and led companies from the inside out. He founded GEMC, a privately held mortgage bank in San Diego, and prior served as CFO for several financial services firms. He has led capital raises, advised on M&A transactions, and built a reputation for bringing a “client-side” perspective to the advisory world—bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and financial disciplines.Beyond the firm, Mark has dedicated nearly a decade to supporting the entrepreneurial community.
