ABOUT MARK WILLIAMS

Adapting our business to become market leaders in all types of waste management, recycling and related services and products has been my priority over recent years. Our purpose is to continue to grow our business substantially and continue to play a crucial role in developing a circular economy. We operate 7 days per week and work closely with our customers and partners to ensure we have the right service in place for their needs. Our service is also designed to support customers to remain compliant, operate effectively and overcome recent and often complex legislative changes in waste management whether that’s trade or land waste. I’ve been working in the business for 25 years and during that time I’ve been active in growing the business and taking it from a traditional haulage firm to where it is today (following a family buyout that seen ownership of NWH Group transfer to myself and my two brothers). Whilst we are still a family business with strong values and customer focus, having a loyal and high performing team, that share the business values has been key to our success. I’m proud that I have a good number of employees and colleagues who have grown and evolved with the business over the years. Their understanding of the industry and customer needs is second to none. In more recent years as we have grown our market share in trade waste and recycled products we have attracted some of the best people in the business to work with us and this has added another layer to the service our customers can expect. As we continue on our exciting journey of growth I’m always keen to hear from experts working within the industry who are interested in a career with us. In the meantime NWH Group will continue to expand geographically (most recently in to Newcastle) and make a valuable contribution to a circular economy”.
