This has been gained from working in Builders’ Merchants, as a Business Development Manager for a Timber Engineering company, 14 years as a Product Certification Manager and then Business Development & Sales Manager for BM TRADA and BBA, Product Certification Manager for SCI, and Group Business Development Manager for Henley Homes, with key focus for Intelligent Steel Solutions, their steel frame manufacturing part of the group. During my time at BM TRADA I sat on various European and UK technical committees for the development of standards and CE marking, including the Technical Board for EOTA (European Organisation for Technical Assessments).I have developed and set up new business streams, as well as built, trained and managed sales teams and business partners around the globe, including mainland Europe, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil and Canada.
