About Mark Goodwin
Mark has dedicated more than 20 years of his career to the renewable energy sector, most recently as a board member of Apex Clean Energy. As CEO of Apex from 2016 to 2023, Mark led the execution of corporate strategy and built a team of more than 400 professionals focused on creating customized clean energy solutions for businesses, government, utilities, and others. With the company\'s core values as a driving force, Mark oversaw the implementation of 8 GW of wind and solar. He previously served as president and COO of Apex from 2009 to 2016.From 2005 to 2009, Mark was a director at Horizon Wind Energy/EDPR. Prior to Horizon, he worked for the North American sales subsidiary of Vestas Wind Systems.Mark is a former naval officer and helicopter pilot. He holds a BS in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
