I help credit unions get technical assistance grants from the Community Development Financial Institution Fund (CDFI) and help build the capacity to become certified CDFIs. These funds help credit unions expand their lending reach in their communities by giving them additional capital and loan loss reserves to mitigate risks and support low-income and disadvantaged communities.Another part of my responsibilities is to help start or accelerate an energy-efficient lending program, specifically in low-income and disadvantaged communities.
