Engaged for design & delivery of a UK Converged Network bringing together a number of disparate and discreet networks to form one National Unified Network. Taking advantage of features and capabilities of Cisco carrier grade routers and high-end switches along with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls to achieve customer requirements over a VPLS based product set. Includes migration of Internet provision and redesign of existing secure corporate wireless solution and, working with other teams, the rationalisation of multiple Active Directory domains and mail solutions.

Currently working on a new platform to support our specialist engineering community across multiple sites. Based on a VMWare solution with high performance graphics and virtual desktops and automation tools-Returned to project delivery role for 2019, concentrating on integration/transition of specialist business managed networks into IS managed and supported platforms-Defence industry - Major data centre move from in-house to new co-location.Throughout 2018 my primary efforts were focussed on planning a big bang data centre move from an in-house footprint of 72 racks to co-location of 48 racks.
