The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Toward that mission, our nonprofit shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that saves lives; provides international humanitarian aid and supports military members and their families. As Regional CEO, I\'m responsible for representing the American Red Cross in the community. I have oversight of Red Cross service delivery, fundraising and external relations in the Wisconsin Region, which covers 68 counties in Wisconsin as well as 8 counties in the western U.P. of Michigan. I. oversee the activities of more than 2,350 staff and volunteers, with an operating budget of Of note: • Achieved annual fundraising goal of $10.5 million in FY19• Made 2,800 households safer in FY19• Led efforts to install over 6,500 smoke alarms in homes in FY19• Responded to 925 home fires in FY19• The Wisconsin Region was selected “REGION OF THE YEAR” in February 2019
