With over four decades of investment and operational expertise, Mark has built a career rooted in deep analysis and predictive modeling. He began in London’s capital markets industry where he wrote early valuation software before moving to New York, where he focused on derivatives design, financial analysis, and cross-border M&A for global consumer goods and financial services clients.Mark’s passion for predictive modeling springs from a career dealing with difficult areas like retail site selection, M&A valuations and post-merger results, cash flow models and inventory optimization models. His executive journey includes leadership roles such as Finance Director, CFO, and Board Director at Virgin, Craig Corporation, Kaiser Group Holdings, Landmark Theatres, SoftAware Networks, and FrontBridge Technologies—helping drive successful exits like the $450M sale of SoftAware and $180M sale of FrontBridge where he was a co-founder.Today, Mark is the CEO & CIO of Life UnLocked Partners, a California RIA championing systematic investing through validated, statistical, information advantages. He leads the firm’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations, guiding new product development and current investing activities. Through hands-on operational experience, he more easily spots patterns that separate temporary setbacks from structural problems.Mark holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a Psychology degree from Pitzer College.
