ABOUT MARK SOTTILE

Mark T. Sottile focuses his defense practice on employment and commercial litigation, representing corporations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Sottile has litigated hundreds of claims under a number of federal statutes, namely Title VII, 1981, the FMLA, ADEA, and ADA. He also handles federal wage and hour cases pursuant to the FLSA and state cases under the NJLAD and PHRA for various forms of employment discrimination. Mr. Sottile has also litigated multiple breach of contract, tortious interference, and unjust enrichment cases in state and federal court. Mr. Sottile has handled non-compete and restrictive covenant litigation matters as well as commercial disputes with millions of dollars at stake, drafting severance packages and employment contracts for high-level executives and physicians and participating in numerous injunctive proceedings. His clients run the gamut and include major corporations as well as small and midsize businesses based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pre-litigation, Mr. Sottile provides counsel to his clients on a range of employment and commercial law matters, including at the EEOC and PHRC. In addition to employment and commercial law, Mr. Sottile handles personal injury and general liability matters for his clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Sottile is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
