Serve as the agency lead for the Ohio Medicaid in Schools Program- encompassing over 600 traditional and community (charter) schools. Responsibilities include overall oversight and monitoring of the program, management of vendor relationships, contract management, technical assistance to schools, therapists and other stakeholders on both policy and fiscal issues; liaison to licensure boards/associations, program training materials, and ongoing research on health care issues impacting education.I also work with local, state, and private agency stakeholders on improvements in care coordination for children with intensive disabilities. I have served as President on the national board of directors with the National Alliance for Medicaid Education (NAME). NAME serves as the primary network for local and state Medicaid educators.I also served as the ODE agency adviser to the Ohio School-Based Health Care Association (OSBHCA), I also currently serve on the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Recovery Council, and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities Council (DD Council).
