I am a highly qualified video and IT engineer and data specialist with 40 years of experience. I have worked in post-production and broadcast for most of my career, and have performed many roles, including Editor, Engineer, Director of Engineering and CTO. I recently decided to go back to school and get a degree in Data Science, and have achieved a B.S, summa cum laude, from Maryville University.I am currently living the dream at Company3, formerly EFilm/Deluxe, in beautiful downtown Hollywood, where I support the team in digital intermediate, as well as feature and TV dailies. I also have experience in broadcast for Spectrum 1 News in Milwaukee and Adstream in Burbank, supporting Javelin ad distribution.Prior to working on the Javelin platform, I served as Chief Engineer for the Deluxe Digital Media, Sherman Oaks, post-production facility for over three years. I applied my knowledge, experience and expertise in many areas of the Deluxe operation including: implementation of file based and 3D workflows, technology advisor, color science for digital intermediate, and development of special techniques for scanning and digital re-mastering. I gained much of my proficiency in post-production technology during my 25 years at Sunset Digital. I rose through the ranks of the organization from On-Line Editor to Engineer, becoming Director of Engineering and finally VP & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the company during its years of rapid expansion in the burgeoning post-production industry. I am a team leader and a team player that is highly motivated and result oriented.
