ABOUT MARK SILMAN
I am a hardworking and adaptable person with a wide range of skills and experience in the IT and electrical repair sectors. Totaling over 40 years of experience working on equipment ranging from dictation equipment to server farms and Epos systems. I have worked as an IT Field Service Engineer, Workshop Engineer, BAU and Technical Support Engineer for many years. I have held Security Clearance for the Home Office, Ministry of Justice & HMPS and MOD. I have recently got more involved in Network Infrastructure Installation, Windows 7 & 11 deployments and software installation and support via SCCM. I have been carrying out builds of new equipment and BAU for several years. I have managed secure data erasure and decommissioning of sites to government and military standards. I have worked around the UK and overseas as and when required. I work as a Break Fix Engineer work on HP Printers & MFP units of a HP agent. During my working life I have attended various company run training courses as well as paying my own way through night courses at college to gain my City & Guilds 224 qualification. I was enrolled on a CompTIA & Windows 7 Course Package but did not complete as was work away from home without access to internet. I am always willing to undertake any additional training you think is relevant to the job you are offering also try to keep up with new technologies in my own time. Whilst a good team player, I am equally prepared to work alone on my own initiative whenever the situation requires it.
