As part of Goldman Sachs’ Business Operations team within Internal Audit, I manage the lifecycle of the contingent workforce (CW), ensuring teams have the right resources to operate efficiently and achieve their strategic goals. My role involves overseeing onboarding, offboarding, budget allocation, accruals, and contract management while ensuring compliance with Statements of Work (SOWs) in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing and Legal teams. I work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Chief Operating Office of Internal Audit and Business Unit Managers, to optimize workforce support, drive financial oversight, secure necessary approvals, and manage quarterly accrual processes to maximize cost efficiency. Collaboration with teams such as Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Contingent Portfolio Management (CPM), and Treasury helps streamline operations while ensuring compliance with firmwide policies. With limited access to additional resources, I focus on maximizing efficiency by optimizing existing processes, leveraging available tools, and continuously improving workforce management strategies. While automation initiatives are still being explored, my efforts are centered on reducing manual effort, mitigating risks, and enhancing workflow efficiency. I leverage tools such as SAP FieldGlass, Anaplan, Magnit ProWand, and Excel for lifecycle management, financial tracking, budgeting, and reporting—ensuring alignment with both operational and compliance objectives. By taking a strategic approach to process optimization, I aim to enhance the effectiveness of contingent workforce management, driving agility, efficiency, and long-term value within Internal Audit’s Business Operations function.
