Start up and troubleshoot industrial equipment in the field. Communicate with various customer/site personnel and S&L Engineering, Field Service, Warranty, and Sales personnel while in the field. Trained customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of their S&L equipment. Prepare detailed field reports. Complete expense reports and start up reports in a timely fashion.Act as a general technical resource on S&L equipment for internal S&L departments and outside customers. Answer customer’s correspondence regarding equipment issues.Assist other Field Service Engineers as necessary for start-up and troubleshooting as well as train new personnel. Ensure that start-ups are complete within the allowed cost and that warranty and back charges are minimized.
