Mark Shaheen is an experienced advisor, strategist, and business leader in the national security and government services sectors. He has advised numerous leading corporations and financial sponsors on investments and growth strategies in government services, defense, intelligence, and technology. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Aronson Capital Partners, LLC, a leading middle-market investment bank focusing on the government services and technology industries. He was a Managing Director at Paladin Global, LLC, an international investment platform focusing on the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. Prior to Paladin Global, he was President and Managing Director at Civitas Strategy Group, a boutique consulting firm providing strategy, management consulting, and investment diligence services to companies and investors in the national security and government sectors.Prior to joining Civitas Group as one of the firm’s original principals, he was a Foreign Service Officer at the Department of State. He served in a senior counterterrorism role in Washington, on the staff of the Secretary of State, and also held overseas assignments as a Political/Economic Officer in Havana, and as Special Assistant to the Ambassador at the U.S. Embassy in London. He has worked in numerous advisory roles related to homeland security and foreign policy/national security. Mr. Shaheen served as an officer in the U.S. Army\'s 10th Mountain Division.
