MCC has been given the gift of two unique ministry contributions. We have the joy of mentoring young leaders in a learning rich setting that includes Westmont students and other young adults. Our hope is to be a grace-filled setting of unpretentious, yet passionate followers of Jesus that invites people to discover and develop gifts alongside a life-long passion to follow Jesus. Additionally, we have an extraordinary campus designed to be shared. After launching Elevate, a character development community youth basketball league two years ago, we now serve hundreds of children and their families from 21 different elementary schools in the significant task of strengthening families in ways that show care for them and align with values that reflect on the goodness of Christ. Elevate, Griefshare, and other resources allow us to achieve our goal to serve the community. A wonderful additional result is that many families have found MCC to be a place for them to discover more about what it means to follow Jesus.
