New Product Introduction Leader for the BD Operations Electro-Mechanical Instrumentation Center of Excellence (COE).Responsible for Operations New Product Introduction (NPI) and related Operations Engineering activities for BD electro-mechanical medical devices. Support direct project management of key projects, training of operations core team members, DFx oversite, and operations NPI stage gate execution. Expertise in a broad array of medical device technologies including flow-cytometry, medical infusion, and instrumentation-based medical diagnostics.Manage select special projects for BD Operations, including projects to improve production of BD conjugated antibody research reagents.Interim Plant Manager for a temporary BD production facility established in April of 2020 to produce Covid-19 rapid-tests to support high international demand (lateral flow assay). Accountable for manufacturing transfer and process design, ongoing test production, associate hiring and training, capital equipment installation and management, production/inventory planning, and delivery into downstream value chain. Managed site to go from zero production to 1 million+ tests/week in 3 months.
